Profile
L.J. Deshaies Automotive was born in 1967 in Cap-de-la-Madeleine. The company specialized in transmission repairs, differentials and drive shafts of any brand.
In 1972, Mr. Deshaies became the franchise holder for the heavy trucks brand White and purchased the garage Récam, located on Normand Boulevard in Trois-Rivières, where he ran the franchise under the banner of Trois-Rivières White Truck.
In 1980, White Corporation sold to a division of Daimler Trucks North America (DTNA) to Freightliner. Trois-Rivières White Truck then became Camions Freightliner Trois-Rivières.
Incapable of properly servicing their customers due to a lack of space and being able to realize its full potential, a relocation became necessary. The purchase of 245000 ft2 field, strategically located at the cross-section of highways 40 and 55, allowed the construction of the current dealership.
At the age of 74, in 2008, Mr. Deshaies passed on the torch to his daughter, Annie, and his son in law, Marc Bellemare. Ever since, they have been combining their efforts to offer the same level of quality service and keep being attentive to the needs of their customers.
